DIRECTIONS
TO THE EVANS FARM
DUCKBACK LABS AND DIAMOND E FARM
From
the Raleigh area
travel Hwy. 64 West going towards Asheboro and Lexington. Continue straight
on 64 West.
- From the
stoplight located on 64 in front of Wal-Mart and Wendy’s in Siler City,
go 8.8 miles.
- You’ll
pass the state ‘Randolph County’ green marker sign on the right.
- At the top
of hill, you will see a large sign on your left marked ‘Captain Tom’s
Seafood.’ Turn left on Parks Crossroads Church Road.
- Keep straight
on that road for 5.5 miles.
- You’ll
come to a stop sign with a blinking red light.
- Turn left
– that’s Hwy. 22.
- Travel on
Hwy. 22 4.7 miles – you’ll go by Coleridge Elementary School on
the road across the road from the Fire Dept. Keep straight.
- Travel down
22/42 until you see a white church steeple – Maple Springs Methodist
Church is on the corner of Lambeth Mill Rd. and 22/42.
- Go down
about .7 mile on Lambeth Mill Rd. and you will see a paved driveway with guard
rails right before the double wide bridge. There will be green gates near
the entrance. Our number is on the mailbox but not very legible. Turn right,
going down the hill and then back up. There will be a fork in the drive with
a pond directly behind it. Stay left and our house is on the left with a circle
drive in front.
If coming
from the Charlotte area
You will travel 64 East until you reach the intersection of 42 South. There
will be a Blockbuster and Papa John’s on your right. Proceed down 42 until
you intersect with 22 (approximately 13 or 14 miles). Turn right and follow
directions above starting with #9. Please remember that we live in the boonies
and there is no cell phone service here.
